Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Slash AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Slash AI is an AI-powered assistant that helps you process documents, generate reports and presentations, and search across your own content. We use third-party large language models (currently Google Gemini) to provide these capabilities.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of every document, message, and file you upload ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — we do not use it to train models, sell it, or share it with anyone outside the third-party processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI Output

The Service uses generative AI. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid for the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will prompt a re-acceptance request the next time you log in.
